Everybody has a Right to information. In India the right to information Act had been passed. And the aim of NGO is to be sure that citizens are aware of this Act since still many residents of India don’t even know about their rights. Therefore, many NGO in India undertake different programs: forums, mass educating, seminars, training, conferences, etc. for increasing the awareness of each individual living in India about their human rights. Three large non-governmental organizations involved in this matter are mentioned below:
RTI NGO INDIA is an NGO that dedicated to create awareness among each person in India about the Right to Information Act, which can be used by any Indian resident to obtain the information from the government. The organization has a forum, where members of the organization share the news, opinions. RTI NGO INDIA also organized training programs, working in cooperation with other organizations dealing with the similar matters.

Uday foundation is also one of the NGO that promotes the Right to Information Act to the society. Uday foundation tries to make sure that Indians are aware about their rights since only awareness can change a lot of things. Information rules the world and there is a possibility to get an access to that information. That is being promoted by Uday foundation.

HamaraVikas – New Delhi is an NGO is a non profit social organization in India that organizes different awareness and training programs on different issues, including the increasing awareness to the Right to Information Act.
