Waste management is one of the biggest problems of the country. Since, India is a nation of billon plus population and good number of people reside in the slums without adequate facilities of waste disposal, this is certainly requires urgent attention. They put waste and garbage on roadsides, on roads, in rivers, in hilly areas, streets, severage system everything is just filled with waste materials and no one is their to look after. In this sitaution, few NGOS and people come together for waste management. They are putting their efforts in this good cause. There have been efforts from but government’s side, but NGOs are playing a prominent role in creating awareness among the masses. They have been actively participating in the activities leading to waste disposal in eco-friendly way. Some of these organisations are cited below:-

The organisation provides education and training especially to students and teachers for saving environment. They also surveys on regular basis and publish journals to create awareness. This is sitauted in Assam and starting from their city their mission is to clean whole country one day.
