As India has been a developing country, poverty is its biggest problem and the children are the worst sufferer. The parents, who cannot afford to send their kids to school, send them to work for roadside hotels, shops and industries, which are extremely hazardous for health to bring income for the family in other words you can say its child labor. The employers who want cheap labour use them and most of the times treat them inhumanly. However, there are NGO’s in the country who has provided help in rescuing them but also imparting education and other necessary facilities for their normal growth. M. VENKATARANGAIYA FOUNDATION
MVF was formed in 1991, operating in just three villages but now functions in several states of India including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. The organisation works for the eradication of child labour by engaging them in studies by convincing their parents.

PRYAS
The organisation founded in the year 1988 with just 25 children is now serving 50,000 children in seven states of India. The aim of foundation is to safeguard the interests of street children by providing them shelter and other necessities but also finding the root cause behind this evil and eradicating it.
