A lot of emancipation among women is now happening which was initiated by our freedom fighters. The main being the superstition that the girl child is more of a responsibility. The eradication of the dowry system is a boon and many girl children are now saved from the torment of the future.
Initially the girl child was made to do chores and then settle in matrimony. Today’s girl child is an example of accomplishing tasks, academics, sports and also having the freedom to choose her life partner.
