India is the biggest democratic nation in the world where, lacking its energetic NGO scene, much harm in society would persist unconcealed. The NGO’s derive their power from the Gandhian practice of volunteerism, which expresses itself in a lot of diverse forms of activism. They aim at functioning for human rights and civil rights, protection of govt., semi- govt. workforce, and entire public. Many people are not even aware about their civil rights and others keep on depriving them for this. Lack of education is the main reason that is why people do not have awareness regarding their rights and NGO’s are working in favor of such people.
