There are a number of elderly citizens who don’t have a roof or a place to call their own. NGO’s are those which support by way of giving Old Age Homes & Day Care Centers which prove to be safe havens where they can survive their lives with self-respect and intermingle with their peers easily. NGO’s help them live with dignity, independence & self-fulfillment. They help the elderly be aware of their rights and provide access to them.

Silver Inning Foundation:

The foundation is a Registered Non- Profit organization which has been dedicated for the elders and their family members. Young individuals from different segments in society, work for the elders and make them happy as they can be. They make this as their rewarding experience. Their mission is to secure the rights of the elderly citizens and they work together with advocating and researching elderly issues and provide solutions to them in a great way.

Spurthi Mahila Mandal (Bijapur):

Ageing and Seniors Spurthi provides key need of shelter, food, clothing & parental care for elder persons who are without any communal support. It provides counseling where it is needed and regular health & clinical services to aged persons. It gives moral support & homely life to aged persons in distress. It also determines to see that aged persons are engaged in some light entrepreneurial activity and provides useful magazines & books for persistent leisure.

Economic Rural Development Society (ERDS):

Give India facilitated backing to elders and deprived children. In 2008-2009, 367 elders were provided food, clothes and medicines. This was a great achievement for them which made them very prominent. When Old age pension schemes are inadequate and are not appropriately administered, The Economic Rural Development Society Helps the Aged in a lovely way.
